Forklift Operator

About the Role We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse and distribution team based in Hume. This is a critical role ensuring the safe and efficient movement of stock within our facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, replenishing stock, and assisting with general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts (Counterbalance/High Reach) to move, stack, and retrieve goods.

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight from trucks and containers.

• Perform daily pre-start safety checks on equipment.

• Assist with inventory management and basic record keeping.

• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse space.

• Adhere to all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) procedures.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse or industrial environment.

• Current LF (Forklift) Licence is essential.

• Must hold a valid Driver’s Licence and have reliable personal transportation to and from Hume.

• Proven track record of reliability and punctuality.

• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.

Pre-Employment Requirements: As part of our commitment to a safe working environment, the successful candidate will be required to undergo and pass a Drug and Alcohol test prior to commencement.
